How it works:

On the day of the move, when the movers arrive with the furniture and the boxes, we start to unpack, put away, organize and resettle your home. With the help of a decorator/designer on our team we help you with the floor planning of your new home.  We'll rearrange the furniture if needed. We unpack the boxes and set up your kitchen so you're ready to cook. We'll unpack and organize your Bedrooms, bathrooms and hang the clothes in the closets. We'll carry on and organize the linen closets, laundry room and finish with the garage. We can even make arrangements to have all the boxes hauled away.

When we're finished, the furniture will be in its place, the beds will be made, the lights and the tv plugged in. We can also hang your pictures on the wall. You want your china or curio cabinet to be set the way you always had it before? Not a problem, all we need is a few photos. You can feel right at home in no time. We do all the unpacking for you so you can start settling in on the same day of your move.

And it's not just unpacked, it's organized with a system in place to have your household not only look beautiful but also with the most efficiency in mind. It is custom designed with our client's needs in mind, wether you're in a wheelchair or have a bad back.

The Upside of Downsizing

Wondering if you're ready to downsize? Well if you're reading this it means you're already thinking about it

.Questions to ask yourself:
  • Are you spending too much time maintaining your house, putting stuff away? Does it weigh you down?

  • Are you still able to maintain or clean your home or are you too tired to do it anymore or can't afford to do it? Maybe you just want to do something else and be free of that responsibility.

  • Do you have a lot of empty bedrooms that are seldom ever used anymore?

  • Is the house becoming too much of a financial burden and you'd like to do something else with the money, like go on a trip?

Freedom from emotional entanglement of stuff.
  • It's amazing how much stuff we all accumulate over the years! That's one of the upside of downsizing. We have to deal with all the stuff that we've accumulated over the years. This can be hard to do and bring anguish but once done, especially if done early enough, little by little, it can be quite liberating. Believe that less is better. As you go through the process, you'll see how too much stuff weighs you down and makes you loose precious time and money.
More Money
  • One of the big upside of downsizing is more financial freedom. A smaller home provides some freedom from the expenses and responsibilities of a larger one. Cheaper insurance, utilities, maintenance and mortgage.
More time
  • Once you've downsized and moved into a smaller house, a condominium or a senior residence, you'll have time to to some of the things you've been wanting to do, go out, go on a trip.

How we can help:

  • Help you de-clutter your home and identify what you need to keep and what to let go.
  • Help you with donations.
  • Help you sell furniture and put you in relation with local companies who can help.
  • Help you stay accountable to keep the process going and start preparing early.
  • Streamlining surfaces
  • Stage your home to have it ready to be sold.
  • Start packing.

What  to do

What not to do

  • Start sorting early. Ask yourself each time you evaluate something; “Do I love this enough to clean it, pack it, pay to move it, unpack it and clean it again?”
  • Try to sell everything you won't need or want.
  • Be realistic about what you need. (You don't need the 40 mugs from the kitchen cabinet).
  • Send/give to family members things that you think they want. Send a picture of the item with a text and get an immediate answer.
  • Ask your kids to pick up their old belongings with a deadline.
  • Donate what you can't sell.
  • Don't keep items you don't need or don't have space for.
  • Don't pack everything thinking you'll sort when you move to the other place. You'll be wasting money and time.
  • Don't pay for a storage unit to store what won't fit in the new place.
  • Don't keep things because you think your kids might want them.
  • Don't keep things that you haven't used in 20 year just because you think you might.

What does Nutrition or losing weight have to do with Organizing?

You might be wondering what nutrition or weight loss has to do with organizing?

When I see disorganization I always check on what people eat. And most of the time their diet is as bad as their house... When our body is nutritionaly depleted, we get tired and it becomes a struggle to remain focused, productive, and keep up with clutter.
Eating is very often a way people cope with stress.

Your messy kitchen might be impairing your efforts to weight loss! A study from 2016 has found that “stressful and chaotic food environments” influence people to reach for high-calorie snacks. Peter Walsh’s in his book "Does This Clutter Make My Butt Look Fat?" have preached to dieters for years: Tidying up and planning ahead is just as important to weight loss as committing to exercise and a reduced-calorie diet. It seems that people with untidy homes often struggle to stick to their weight-loss plans.Clutter creates a stressful environement. "When people are chronically stressed, the body responds with a surge of hormones that increases cravings and hunger throughout the day,” says Dafna Chazin a registered dietitian.

Lack of organization does not usually impact just one aspect of people's life but all aspects of it and that includes what/when/how they eat. If you can’t control a mess, you begin to doubt your ability to control your eating. It gives you mental permission to overeat and eat mindlessly. You end up reaching for foods you don’t really want to eat, like chips, and then feel ashamed and demotivated.”

How I help you reach your goal:

Stay CONSISTENT the result will follow! And the best way to stay consistent is to have a PLAN.

1- We organize your environment, your kitchen, your fridge:
A stressful environment erodes our ability to create plans we can commit to. Our discipline to eat better and exercise more is diminished by the visual noise and the distraction of piles of stuff all around us.
  • We start by removing the clutter, reorganize your kitchen, countertops, fridge and freezer. An organized kitchen makes it easier to cook and keep a healthier diet. It becomes easier to get to the healthy food.
We create the right environment to promote success if your kitchen needs it.

 2-
We create a plan:
  • We'll create meal plans for the week and keep record of what you eat.  Creating a weekly meal planning makes it easier to stay on your weight loss plan and saves you money too.
  • I'll show you how we can use technology to keep track of recipes and shopping list.
  • I'll show you how to do some meal prep (even if for 2 or 3 meals or just to prepare healthy snacks makes it easier to stick to the plan) and show you a few easy recipes. Eating good does not have to be complicated. I can refer you to a nutritionist if needed.
  • We'll get you started with an exercise program, starting from where you are at or put you in touch with a personal trainer.
  • You'll get some household management & time management tips along the way.

3- I introduce you to Isagenix and how you can create a healthy lifestyle.

I like to introduce Isagenix more as a healthy choice system then a weight loss system and mostly for most it works! It makes eating healthy & losing weight simple and stops your cravings. It is not a short term solution but a long life choice. When you replenish your body with the right nutrition it becomes healthier, you get more energy, you sleep better, you feel better, your body transforms in and out. The results you'll get will encourage you and motivate you to carry on. You get more energy, you're more able to exercise, you'll lose more weight. A healthy life circle will be created.

Yes, tell me more about Isagenix.

Is this for you? What do I need?

I give you the tools but at the end of the day it is still up to you. How ready are you to make a change? How important is your goal and your health to you?
  • You need to be truly committed to your goals and ready to commit to 30days.
  • Be willing to make changes and try new things.
  • Be honest with yourself and let go of your excuses.
  • Do some homework in between sessions.
  • Keep a positive attitude and an open mind..
  • No cooking experience is required.
  • Have internet/wi-fi  and Zoom calls enabled.

Will it work?

  • I know that when you have a team on your side you are better than one. You'll have accountability partners and will work one on one with me or in a small group setting with Zoom calls, sharing results, ideas and recipes.

  • Yes, if you follow the program with some consistency. It is not about doing it 100% perfectly all of the time, although if you can it's even better, it is about doing it well 80% of the time and long enough to see the results. It's about getting better each day.

  • Isagenix offers a 30 days money back guaranteed if it does not work for you, for any reasons, because they are so sure that you will love the results you get and they stand by their products. They have the best customer services I have personally ever seen  So you're really not risking anything but an organized kitchen and learning how to meal prep, meal/food management, make a few friends along the way and feel healthier, lighter and better than before.

Can I afford it?

  • The program I am offering can be done virtually perfectly well if cost is an issue and from anywhere.  And with Covid 19 right now you might not want it any other way anyway.

  • I have a 20min free phone consultation and the initial 1h consultation is a free virtual session via Zoom. Your main cost would be the organizing of your kitchen, but only if you need it and the Isagenix package replaces some of the food you already purchase every months and you can manage to get your products for free.

  • There is no better time to boost your immune system than now! Does your health really have a price? It is okay to spend money on yourself! Think of how much you spend on health insurance every month or medications or what the cost of being sick is or the cost of clutter in your home.

I only take a small amount of people at once so ask today for a 20min complimentary phone consultation.

What is virtual organizing:

Virtual organizing is a great way to get expert advice, support and guidance in your home at a time that works for you safely and from anywhere - without having someone in your home. You get the same coaching, guidance and support you'd get if we were side by side.

How does it work:

It starts with a 20min complimentary consultation via phone or video chat to discuss your specific organizing needs and make sure that the virtual video part works for both of us. We then will set a time for the 1h organizing session.
During the organizing session you'll walk me through your space virtually with your phone, tablet or laptop and we'll discuss your goals, your strengths, your challenges and we'll come up with a plan custom made for you. In between sessions, you'll have homework and we'll work together to create a plan to keep you going. We'll set the next session where we'll revisit your progress and achievements and you'll get guidance until your project is finished. It's a great way to get accountability, support and encouragements in a non-judgmental way so you can achieve your personal goals. The amount of sessions needed depends on the size of the project and the amount of do it yourself organizing you undertake in between sessions.

Are you a good candidate for Virtual Organizing?

1- Virtual organizing will work well if you are comfortable enough with technology to make the virtual part work. You're able to use a video conferencing system app like Zoom. You're able to take pictures of your space to share before appointments. You're able to use a phone or a tablet with a camera. You have a strong enough internet/wi-fi connection to be sure the video will work if you roam to different part of your house.
2- You have to be committed to your project and to it's completion and you are good at working on your own, at your own pace and finishing what you start. You are committed to accomplish the homework that will be given in between session.
3- You have enough time to set aside to make progress on your goals.

What do you need:

  • A smart phone, tablet or laptop that you can move to the problem area.
  • An internet connection.

What you get:

1h of support and tips from the ProfessionalOrganizer
An email with follow-up tasks from the session.
A basic plan of action based on your organizing priorities and needs
A shopping list of storage product suggestions for the area worked on if needed.

Virtual Organizing Rates:

  • $65 per 1 hour session via video chat

  • $190 Package of 3 sessions via video chat

  • $315 Package of 5 sessions via video chat

What we can help with:

  • Design your Space
Sometimes you will be amazed at what a fresh pair of eyes can do! It might be as simple as adding a light or changing things around to make it work better. The ergonomics of a space can completely change your work flow and make you more efficient.

  • Create a filling system
We will set up your filling system for your paperwork to make it work for you. As we are all different and work differently not all systems work for everybody. So we will create your own personal filling system that will be designed with your thinking style in mind.Filling papers should feel easy afterwards. However like any system some maintenance should be put in place for it to function properly.

  • Time management skills/ Time blocking/ Pomodoro method/
In many cases, a person is unorganized due to a lack of time management skills. At the consultation, we address how you currently manage your time, and offer advice on systems to efficiently schedule appointments, leisure time, and projects that require your attention.

  • Project management/ Trello
Some projects might seem like they're so much to do and you don't know what you need to do first. All you see is the project as a whole and it feels overwhelming. We will help you cut it down in smaller projects and will bring accountability so that you get things moving forwards.

  • Billing
Don't we all hate late charges! Even with your best intentions, somehow you realize the day after that that bill was due yesterday.... We will set up your billing system and set up reminders so that it will never happen again.
